Founder of the Virgin Group Richard Branson has been named as ambassador for Bulova Accutron. This appointment is part of the company’s growth strategy which has seen it open four international subsidiaries in one year. These new divisions, in China, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom, are in addition to offices existing in Canada, Mexico and Switzerland, as well as the company’s headquarters in New York.
To support international development, greater emphasis will be placed on product development, design and marketing activity. More money will also be invested in press advertising, as with the deployment of Bulova Accutron featuring Richard Branson.
Richard Branson will donate all proceeds from his collaboration with Bulova Accutron to Virgin Unite, a non profit-making foundation which he set up in 2004 to help tackle social and environmental problems with an entrepreneurial approach
